Privacy Policy

This policy describes the personal data we collect when you use Namence, how we use it, who we share it with and the rights you have over it. We comply with GDPR, Nepal's Individual Privacy Act 2018, India's DPDP Act 2023 and the CCPA.
1. Data we collect
Account data (name, email, billing address, payment method last-4), service data (server logs, resource usage, IP addresses), and support data (tickets, chat transcripts). We do not sell personal data and never have.
2. How we use data
To provide and improve the Services, process billing, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, and (with your consent) send product announcements. Marketing emails always include a one-click unsubscribe.
3. Legal bases (GDPR)
Contract performance for delivery of paid Services; legitimate interest for fraud prevention and product analytics; consent for marketing emails and non-essential cookies; legal obligation for tax and abuse records.
4. Subprocessors
We use a limited set of subprocessors (Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for DDoS protection, AWS SES for transactional email). The full list and contractual safeguards are available on request from dpo@namence.com.
5. International transfers
Your data may be transferred to the EU, US or India where we operate infrastructure. Transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards required by applicable law.
6. Retention
Account data is retained for the life of the account plus 7 years for tax and accounting. Server logs are retained 90 days. Backups are retained 30 days then permanently deleted.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data at any time from your account, or by emailing dpo@namence.com. We respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies
We use a small set of essential cookies (session, CSRF, locale) and, with consent, product analytics. See our Cookie Policy for details.
9. Children
The Services are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
